There is a small but thriving group of Miniature Road Vehicle enthusiasts at the Scottish Model Engineering Trust. They drive a variety of road vehicles mainly steam powered although there are several electric powered vehicles. On public Open Days they give passengers an alternative view of the Wester Pickston site carrying passengers in one of two new purpose built 4 adult trailers.
A track for the vehicles has been cut through the woods. Starting at the new loading area the track crosses over the rails before heading into the woods. Passing a purpose built sawmill the track continues across another rail crossing as it winds its way to Duck’s End station.
Do you have your own vehicle or would like to find out more about building and running one of these magnificent models? Use the Contact Page to leave a message for one of the Miniature Road Vehicle Members who wil be only to happy to give you more information.
